Berium Group provides acetone in its high purity to the world’s leading manufacturers in diverse industries, such as, automotive, electronics, paints and coatings, adhesives, pharmaceuticals, printing inks, agricultural chemicals, rubber and polymer among others.

Acetone is majorly used as an intermediate material in organic synthesis where it is essentially used as feedstock for the production of acetone cyanohydrin for methyl methacrylate (MMA); bisphenol A, phenolic resins, alkylphenols and caprolactam. Phenol is also used for salicylic acid, nitrophenols, halogenated phenols, and diphenyl ethers among other important chemicals.

Industrial application for acetone in the production of methyl methacrylate and directly as a solvent, take up about 25% and 35% respectively, of the global annual consumption of acetone. The next largest end-use for acetone is bisphenol A which takes up estimated 28% followed by aldol chemicals including methyl isobutyl carbinol (MIBC), methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) and isophorone.

Our acetone is meticulously sourced from the leading manufacturers in the world. Berium mainly originates acetone from USA, China and Taiwan. We aim to support end user clients from Europe, Oceania, Asia Pacific, Africa and the rest of the world.
